Playing on a private server with friends

A private server is your own world: your rules, your friends, your progress kept safe. Here's how to launch a multiplayer game in just a few minutes.

1. Create the server

Choose your game (Minecraft, Valheim, Palworld), the performance and the RAM, then start it. The server is provisioned on demand and ready in ~2 minutes.

2. Grab the connection address

As soon as the server is running, a stable address (something like my-server.tickserv.com) appears in your console. It doesn't change from one session to the next: note it once, reuse it forever.

3. Share it with your friends

Send the address (and the server password for Valheim/Palworld, generated automatically) to your group. Everyone adds the server in their game and joins you.

4. Play, then shut down

You only pay for the hours you play. Nobody's playing? The server stops on its own, and you're never cut off mid-game as long as a player is connected. Your world is saved for next time — free of charge.

Split the bill

With shared wallets, your friends can chip in on the cost: everyone puts in whatever they want, and your servers draw from it first. Perfect for a group server.

Create your server and start your first game with friends.
