Your group plays on Saturday night, your regiment runs its line battle on Wednesday. To let them know,
you post a link in your Discord… and that link said nothing about the session: not the time, not the
cost, not whether there was enough left to pay for it.

Now it does.

## What players see when they click

If your server has a **schedule** or a **pool**, its invite link opens on a full-page event page, on
desktop and on mobile:

- **The next session**: the day and the hours, in your schedule’s time zone, with a “Happening now”
  badge once it has started.
- **The cost of the session**: the hours of the slot × your server’s price per hour. A started hour
counts as a full one, just like on the bill.
- **How many sessions a €5 top-up pays for.** It is the smallest payment possible, so that is how we
put it: on a server at €0.02 an hour, a session from 9 pm to 11:30 pm costs €0.06, and €5 pays for
  83 of them.
- **Each player’s share**, as a guide: set the number of players with the − and + buttons.
- **The pool** paying for the server: how much is already in, a progress bar, and what is still
  needed to cover the session.

On the right, the usual panel to **join the game**: the address that never changes and, once signed
in, a button to chip in your share.

With no schedule and no pool, the link stays the invite card you already know.

## How to turn it on

1. On your server’s page, open **Schedule** and add your slot (for example Saturday, 9 pm to
11:30 pm). The server starts and stops on its own.
2. If you split the costs, create a pool from your **Wallet** and attach it to the server.
3. In **Share**, create an invite link and post it wherever your group gets organised.

The guide [A server for an event: pay for the evening, not the month](https://tickserv.com/guides/game-server-for-events)
runs the full numbers against a monthly plan.

## What this doesn’t fix

- **The cost is an estimate.** The server is only billed once it is running, so the real bill can be
a little lower; it is never computed on more than the slot.
- **The pool balance is visible to anyone who has the link.** Who paid what is not. If you don’t want
it shown, don’t attach a pool to the server.
- **Schedules are weekly.** A one-off event on a specific date can’t be announced yet.
- **Chipping in requires an account**, and a card payment starts at €5.
